Sahara Desert Trip: 03 days trip from Ouarzazate
Day 01: Ouarzazate – Rose & Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Sahara Desert:
fter having your breakfast and get ready, our staff meets you at the lobby and start your journey. The morning departure takes us from Ouarzazate to the dunes of Merzouga driving via Skoura where we visit the kasbah of Amridil. After so, we go ahead through rose & Dades valley; the road of thousand kasbahs to arrive to Todra Gorges where we have a walk in its canyons and maybe we have lunch at the spot. After lunch, our trip continues to Sahara Desert via villages along the road. Pass by Tinjdad and Erfoud to arrive to Merzoouga where we change the car for camels. Get ready for camel ride to spend overnight in the middle of the desert. Sunset would be so great from the top of dunes. Dinner and breakfast are served in the camp.
Day 02: Sightseeing Desert Tour:
Wake up early in the morning to attend and enjoy a spectacular sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. Set up over the dunes, waiting for the sun to rise and meanwhile feel the cold morning breeze are feelings you will not find elsewhere but here in the Desert. After so, back to the camp for breakfast and shower, then get ready for free day around Sahara Desert. You will have a unique opportunity to visit Gnaoua village “Black people” originally from Mali, Niger…. They will entertain you with their authentic instruments. After spending a worthwhile moment with Gnaoua; we drive deep in the Desert for a panoramic view that shows the contrast of golden dunes with black volcanic rocks. Later on, a cup of tea with nomad family is worth to explore the way they survive and feel the harshness of life for being a nomad. We follow our path to a left behind coal mine. Back to the village of Merzouga for lunch. Back to the hotel for free time. Night in the hotel.
Day 03: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Agdez – Anti Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate:
Wake up in the morning for your shower and breakfast and then get ready to leave the Desert back to Ouarzazate. Our drive will take us through the former city of Sijilmassa where we will have a walk through its old souk. Later on, we continue along Berber villages like Alnif and Nkob. Stop for lunch in one of local restaurant before we cross the palm trees groves of Draa. Our adventure persists with a panoramic view in Agdez and the breath-taking landscapes of Anti Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon, arrive to Ouarzazate. Dop off at your hotel and end of our services.
