Morocco trip: 4 days from Marrakech to the desert
Day 01: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhadou Kasbah – Dades:
This Morocco trip will start & end from/in the red city of Marrakech.
So, upon our departure time, we will be waiting at the lobby to pick you and start our trip around Morocco. As soon as we meet you, we leave Marrakech for our destination Dades Valley. Hence, this Morocco trip will take us through High Atlas Mountains enjoying scenic landscape with stops on the route for pictures.
Additionally, we will cross the mountains to arrive at the Kasbah Ait Benhadou – a UNESCO heritage and a backdrop for many movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy…Subsequently, we carry on our Morocco trip with a passage via the city of Ouarzazate which is nicknamed as the Hollywood of Africa, due to its studios as well as its proximity to the kasbah we visited.
Later on, we drive further south along the oasis of Skoura, Rose & Dades Valley.
Day 02: Bomalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga:
Following the breakfast, the Morocco trip continues to Sahara Desert. Within our drive, we divert our direction to arrive at Todra Gorges – a worth fabulous natural site for rock-climbers. Next, we will make it to Sahara Desert passing by Erfoud, known for being the capital of dates and fossils.
Whilst arriving at the village of Merzouga, we switch the vehicle for dromedaries to go on a sahara desert adventure. The dromedaries will take us across Erg Chebbi dunes enjoying the sceneries of the area. Ergo, the sunset on top of the dunes will surely be the best experience of your trip in Morocco. Besides, upon your arrival at the camp, you will be welcomed with a cup of tea as hospitality. Subsequently, dinner and breakfast will be served at the luxury camp. Day 03: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate:
We resume this trip in Morocco with an early wake up for a spectacular sunrise. Meanwhile sitting down over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, waiting for the sun to rise, and feeling the cold breeze are feelings you will not find elsewhere but in Merzouga Sahara Desert. After that, you take breakfast, shower, and then get ready to leave the Desert to Ouarzazate.
Besides, the journey continues through the former city of Sijilmassa where we will have a walk in its old souk. Later on, we pursue along Berber villages to halt for lunch in one of local restaurants before we cross the palm trees groves of Draa. Furthermore, Morocco trip’s adventure persists with a panoramic view in Agdez and the breath-taking landscapes of Anti Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon, arrive at Ouarzazate for overnight.
Day 04: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech:
When you get up in the morning, you have your breakfast taken, and then get ready to leave Ouarzazate. So, we will take our way through the winding road of Atlas to Marrakech. Early afternoon, arrive to Marrakech and end of your 4 days Morocco tour.
