Day trip from Fes to Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco, is a beautiful town of cobalt-stained streets set amid the majestic Rif Mountains. A town as rich in history as it is beautiful, it was established in 1471 when Moorish and Jewish settlers fled here to escape the Reconquista of Spain.
Our driver will meet you at the lobby by 08 am to take you on a fascinating day trip to the blue city of Morocco. The drive from Fes to Chefchaouen is about 03 hours. During our journey, we will discover the magical amazing Chaouen, a mountainous town in north of Morocco with a superb setting, full of charm and authenticity. The city is characterized by the Andalusian blue architecture and is famous for its beautiful local Rif rugs.
Every corner of Chefchaouen’s Medina offers a magical view of the city streets and surrounding mountains. Its small streets are very beautiful, colorful and pleasant to walk. Uta Hammam square is the heart of the medina and a meeting point for locals, there are many good cafes. In the same square, you will visit the city’s great mosque and the kasbah with its very pleasant gardens. Lunch will be in one of the restaurants by the square.
Within our stay or visit to Chefchaouen, we must immerse ourselves deep in their local authentic lifestyle as it is very different from the frenetic pace of the big cities of Morocco. Around 03pm, we pick you up and drive back to Fes. Drop you off at the hotel. End of our services.
